At Pine Crest School, protecting our students physically and emotionally while preserving our educational environment is of utmost importance.

Responsibility for school safety and security is not limited to law enforcement or school personnel. Everyone in our community plays a role.

Our Culture of Security

Our security program has been recognized as a model for independent schools by private security companies and law enforcement agencies throughout the country. Teachers, administrators, and staff participate in situational awareness and preventative defense training, and emergency preparedness drills. Employees are equipped with communication tools, such as two-way radios and campus phone all-page, for emergency preparedness and response.

Each Pine Crest security team member has prior security, law enforcement, and/or military experience, and is trained to respond to all emergencies, administer CPR, Stop The Bleed, and AED, and assist in traffic control.
