Music Awards & Achievements

Twenty-five (25) Pine Crest School student-musicians from the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools have been selected to perform with Florida Music Educators Association (FMEA) All-State Ensembles.

The FMEA organizes 22 All-State Ensembles featuring Florida's top band, orchestra, chorus, and guitar students who are conducted by world-class conductors and teachers. It is attended by more than 10,000 secondary music directors, elementary music teachers, music supervisors, college students, college music teachers, school administrators, and student performers.

This year,Yuna Kumar-Shono ’24 was selected to join both the All-State Middle School Orchestra and All-State Middle School Chorus, a rare achievement for student musicians.
