The Pine Crest School Rubenstein Library and Hudson Family Library celebrated Native American History Month with a display of books written by or about Native Americans.

The book “We Are Water Protectors” by Carole Lindstrom and Michaela Goade and biographies about Sitting Bull and Maria Tallchief were some of the highlighted works shared throughout the month.

The libraries created large displays of Native American literature for students to check-out and enjoy in the classroom and at home.

In addition to selected works, the libraries organized an outdoor exhibition called Beauty Surrounds Us. This interactive activity allowed students to be outside and read about Native American clothing, games, and tools.
