School Orchestra Students Perform at FAU Side by Side Concert

Four Pine Crest School orchestra students participated in the eighth annual Side by Side Concert at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) recently.
Sydney Spector ’20, Vanessa Wildman ’20, Kiara Garcia ’21, and Ivey Rao ’22 were selected to perform at the concert.
Under the direction of Dr. Laura Joella, the two-day festival schedule included rehearsals and workshops with peers from high schools across the state as well as with members of FAU’s Symphony Orchestra. The rehearsals culminated in a concert on the evening of October 5, 2019.
