Pine Crest School’s Middle and Upper School choirs recently participated in the Florida Orchestra Association state-level Music Performance Assessment (MPA). 

The orchestras received superior ratings across the board, the highest rating possible. Students’ performances were evaluated on various musical elements, including intonation, tone, rhythmic precision, balance, articulations, dynamics, phrasing, style and overall etiquette.

“What impressed the adjudicators most,” said Mr. Antione Khouri, Pine Crest Orchestra Director, “was the artistry, expression and musicality displayed throughout the performances. Additionally, one of the adjudicators assessed the orchestras’ sight-reading ability, further showcasing the students' musical proficiency and preparation.”
