Pine Crest Middle and Upper School Technology Student Association (TSA) teams competed at the 2025 Florida TSA State Competition.
The Middle School team placed third in the state, and the Upper School team placed second, with both earning multiple team awards. Both teams have qualified to compete this summer at the National TSA Competition in Nashville, Tennessee.
TSA is a national organization of middle and high school students engaged in science, technology, engineering, fine arts, and mathematics (STEAM). TSA chapters take the study of STEAM beyond the classroom and allow students to pursue academic challenges among peers with similar goals and interests.
Competitions are categorized by Architecture and Construction Technology, Communications Technology, Computer Science and Information Technology, Leadership, Manufacturing and Transportation Technology, STEM (General), STEM and the Arts, and Technology and Research.
Additionally, Gabe Duarte ’25, Sophia Wang ’25, and Mehak Gadh ’25 were awarded Florida Technology and Engineering Senior Scholarships. Gabe Duarte ’25, Drew Goldstein ’26, and Aman Agrawal ’26 were inducted into the TSA National Honor Society and Georgia Kolettis ’27 received the U.S. Naval Research Award and the Hines Graphic Arts Award.
