Pine Crest Upper School Wrestlers Advance to State Meet

Pine Crest Upper School student-athletes Nathan Chen ’25 and Andrew Chen ’27 have advanced to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) wrestling state championship tournament.

They both qualified for the state championship tournament after Nathan earned the regional championship for Class 1A Region 4 in the 285-pound weight class, where Andrew placed third at the meet in the 157-pound weight class.

Nathan also earned the FHSAA district championship and Andrew was the district runner-up in their respective weight classes.

The three-day state championship tournament will take place at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.
