‘Hooray For Hollywood’ Spring Auction a Scintillating Success!

The moment our guests walked into the Boca Resort, they were treated like a “star.” There was a red carpet that led those in attendance into the main reception room filled with eye-catching baskets and incredible silent auction items.
The reception area was filled with the music of our own Pine Crest Jazz Band, led by John Aiello. The young musicians were brilliant, to say the very least, and we thank all of them for participating.
When the ballroom doors opened for dinner, our red-carpet revelers felt like they were attending the Oscars in Hollywood. There were red and gold tablecloths, gorgeous floral centerpieces, and luxurious satin draping the walls.
Thanks also go to Pine Crest parent and Trustee Sheri Sack, our auctioneer for the evening. She did such a wonderful job connecting with the audience and was instrumental in making our auction a success.
We are happy to announce that our net revenue from the evening was $375,000. This money will be used for need-based projects (i.e. financial aid, support for our new Lower School building, and other on-going School projects) that enhance the educational process for our children.
Congratulations to Co-chairs Kathy Adkins, Karen Foreman, and Cory MacNeille and their team of volunteers for producing such a star-studded event!
