Athletic Awards & Achievements


Pine Crest School student-athletes have been recognized by the Miami Herald as Broward All-County athletes.

 

At the end of every year since 1957, the Miami Herald selects the top-performing athletes in their sport and gives them all-county recognition. 

 

This year, Tsion Yared ’20, Josh Hanks’21, and Julia Podkoscielny ’23 were recognized in addition to Head Swim Coach and Aquatics Director Mariusz Podkoscielny and Program Director and Head Coach of Cross Country and Track Paul Baur.

 

Tsion is the first Pine Crest student-athlete to win both athlete and scholar of the year in the same year.
