Upper School Trips

Pine Crest School AP Art History Seminar students traveled to New York City during the 2020-21 school year.

Students had the opportunity to tour the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Morgan Library, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum, and the Neue Galerie. They also visited the Seagram Building and the Guggenheim, and walked the High Line from the Whitney to Hudson Yards. In the evenings, they attended two Broadway shows, "West Side Story" and “Hadestown.”

“I loved this trip because it gave me the opportunity to learn about art in a hands-on way,” said Karene Hermon ’21. “Many aspects of art are hard to grasp sitting in a classroom. Seeing the pieces in person allows you to appreciate them in a whole new way.”
