Pine Crest School Tennis Teams Advance to FHSAA State Championship

Pine Crest School boys’ and girls’ tennis team members will advance to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) state championship tournament.

The boys’ team defeated American Heritage Delray to earn the regional championship title.

The girls’ team finished as the regional runner-up to American Heritage Plantation. Akasha Urhobo ’25 will advance to compete in the singles individual competition at the state tournament.

The boys’ team earned their fifth consecutive district championship earlier this season.

The state championship tournament will take place from April 28 to April 30 at Red Bug State Park in Casselberry, FL.
