Pine Crest School Student-Musician Selected to Next Generation Jazz Orchestra

Pine Crest School student-musician Brandon Goldberg ’24 has been selected to join the Monterey Jazz Festival’s Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, which is the Festival's internationally-renowned high school all-star big band.

Twenty (20) students were selected after robust online auditions judged by professional jazz artists and educators. The student-musicians chosen represent the nation's most talented high school musicians from 11 states and the District of Columbia.

The students will rehearse virtually and meet in person ahead of the September 24 through September 26, 2021 performance dates.
