The Pine Crest School boys’ and girls’ swimming and diving teams won their respective Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) 1A district championship titles recently.

Among the team championships, nine student-athletes earned individual district titles.

Both teams will compete at the regional championship meet on Friday, October 29 at University School.

Congratulations to the following individual district championship title winners:

Girls’ team:
Riley Botting ’23 - 200 yard freestyle and 500 yard freestyle races
Julia Podkościelny ’23 - 200 yard individual medley 
Ava Andersen ’23 - diving
Isabella Chambers ’22, Riley Botting ’23, Sara Lin ’24, Hanna Elks Smith ’22 - 200 yard freestyle relay
Julia Podkościelny ’23, Isabella Chambers ’22, Hanna Elks Smith ’22, Riley Botting ’23 - 400 yard freestyle relay 

Boys’ team:
Kevin Mendez ’22 - diving
Kingsley Bailey ’25 - 500 yard freestyle
