Pine Crest School Student-Athletes Named to Sun Sentinel All-County Teams

Pine Crest School student-athletes who competed during the fall 2021 sports season have been named all-county athletes by the Sun Sentinel.
At the end of every season, the Sun Sentinel selects the top-performing athletes in their sport, categorizes them into first and second teams, and names an honorable mention list.
In addition to naming all-county athletes, the Sentinel named diver Kevin Mendez ’22 the boys’ swimming and diving athlete of the year. Kevin earned his seventh consecutive state championship this year, which is an FHSAA record for consecutive championships in the same event across any FHSAA sanctioned sport. This is the second consecutive year Kevin has been named athlete of the year and has been a First Team All-County honoree for seven consecutive seasons as well. Kevin was also named to the Second Team All-County in sixth grade after finishing third in the State Championships in 2015.
