Pine Crest School Student-Athletes and Coaches Recognized by the Sun Sentinel
August 4th 2022
Pine Crest School student-athletes were recognized by the Sun Sentinel as players of the year and named to all county teams for their respective sports.
At the end of every season, the Sun Sentinel selects the top-performing athletes in their sport, categorizes them into first and second teams, and names an honorable mention list.
For tennis, Kenneth Chan ’24 [Photo credit (Michael Laughlin/Sun Sentinel)] was named boys’ player of the year, and Coach Corey Marsh was named boys’ tennis coach of the year for the second consecutive year. The boys’ tennis team earned their second consecutive state championship title. Girls’ lacrosse Program Head Eileen Pliske was also named coach of the year, leading the team to their most winning season in history.
