Pine Crest Upper School social science instructor Mrs. Trish Everett has been selected to the Constitutional Fellows Program by the National Constitution Center.

The Constitutional Fellows Program is a year-long academic commitment with the National Constitution Center to engage in professional development, focus group feedback, activity design, and evaluation.

Mrs. Everett joins the inaugural cohort of the Fellowship assisting the National Constitution Center in the development and implementation of an online course titled “Constitution 101.”

“I am most excited about the prospect of stepping outside my own comfort zone a little bit—trying new things that some other brilliant educators have designed, and putting my own spin on them,” said Mrs. Everett. I am also particularly interested in formal reflection and feedback. I already tend to do informal check-ins (with myself, co-teachers, and students) about how an activity went, what worked, what could be improved, but with a more formal process. I'm curious to see how this can positively impact my teaching in the future.”

Congratulations!
