Upper School Student-Artist Wins Congressional Artistic Discovery Art Competition

Pine Crest Upper School students have had their artwork recognized in the 2019 Congressional Artistic Discovery Art Competition for high school students in Florida's 22nd district.

The competition is an annual contest sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives in which every congressional district selects a winning piece of artwork from a local high school student.

Congratulations to:

  • Natalie Klar ’19, First Place for “Diamond”
  • Vanessa Wildman ’20, Second Place for “Anna Fisher”
  • Alana van Woerkom ’20, Honorable Mention

Natalie’s artwork will be on display for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol. She will also receive two plane tickets to travel to Washington, D.C. in June 2019 for special events held in honor of Artistic Discovery winners from across America.
