Nov 27 - Nov 29
The Invitational is one of the most prestigious running events in the country and features the fastest athletes from 50 U.S. states. The post-season meet will take Tsion on an all-expenses-paid trip to Seattle, Washington to compete and tour the Brooks headquarters.
Tsion was also invited to compete in the 2019 Adidas High School Dream Mile in Boston, however, it is the same weekend as the Brooks PR Invitational.
Both invitations come on the heels of Tsion’s second consecutive Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) state track and field championship title in the 3200-meter race. Earlier this year, Tsion also earned her third FHSAA cross country state champion.
Tsion was named the Gatorade Florida Girls’ Cross Country Runner of the Year; a finalist for the Gatorade National Player of the Year award; Broward County Runner of the Year by The Sun-Sentinel; and the 2018 Class 2A Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year by the Florida Dairy Farmers Association.
Congratulations, Tsion!
