Pine Crest School's Young Democrats and Teen Republicans groups participated in the school's first-ever live Presidential Debate in the Upper School on Oct. 24.

The lively, moderated debate was televised live and watched throughout Upper School classrooms and lecture halls. Professor Charles Zelden from Nova University placed the debates in historical perspective and Mr. Randy Schultz, Editor of the Editorial Page of The Palm Beach Post discussed the role/place/presence of the media - how has it evolved and become such a big part of the story itself.

Several seniors played the roles of Obama and Romney:

Obama - Brian Tighe, Julian Gruber, Joseph May, Ivy Kilpatrick, Saher Fattah and Emily Slatkow

Romney - Reagan Hage, Chase Navellier and William Kent Haeffner

Pine Crest Broadcast students did a phenomenal job directing and producing the show.
