Fine Arts Awards & Achievements


Five Pine Crest Upper School band members competed in the Florida Bandmasters Association State Solo and Ensemble Music Performance Assessment recently. 

To compete, students submitted recorded selections for adjudication. Spencer Bauman ’21, Melika Borujerdi ’22, Ava Friesen ’22, Peter Gailitis ’23, and Sophia Varughese ’22 earned superior ratings, the highest level to be earned, and were recognized as some of the best student musicians in the state. Additionally, Melika earned a superior with distinction for her piano performance.
