Upper School Awards & Achievements


Eight (8) Pine Crest Upper School students have been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards from the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers for their original art.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the oldest and most prestigious creative arts recognition program in the nation. Through the Awards program, the Alliance, whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent, offers teens the opportunity to receive a scholarship and have their work exhibited and published.

Congratulations to the following Pine Crest students:

  1. Delaney Dardet ’20, Gold Key, Silver Key, and two Honorable Mentions
  2. Sami Heller ’20, Honorable Mention
  3. Joshua Koolik ’20, Honorable Mention

Gold and Silver Keys honorees’ award-winning works will be on display at the Young At Art Museum in Davie from Saturday, February 2, to Saturday, March 23, 2019.
