Student Musicians were Selected to Perform with Itzhak Perlman

Pine Crest Upper School student Alexis Logan ’21 and Middle School student Violet Martin ’24 were selected to perform with world-renowned musician Itzhak Perlman as part of the Super Strings program.
The Super Strings program promotes the interaction of Florida’s young musicians with international students of The Perlman Music Program and world-class faculty.
Alexis, first violin, and Violet, viola, earned the opportunity to audition by state-wide invitation. Only 52 string students from more than a dozen counties in Florida were chosen out of hundreds of auditioners.
Alexis and Violet will perform on December 28, 2019 at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee in Sarasota, Florida.
