Pine Crest School Girls’ Weightlifting Advances to Regional Championship

Members of the Pine Crest School girls’ weightlifting team have qualified to compete at the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) 1A-8 regional championship meet.

The team placed third in the district, with Daniela Munoz ’20 earning the district championship title and Ashlynn McGinn ’22 placing district runner-up in their weight classes.

Also competing at the regional meet will be Hailey Bharadwa ’21, Kiara Garcia ’21, Emma Feirstein ’21, Payton Kennelly ’22, Maya El-Sharif ’21, Alex Carr ’20, Vanessa Wildman ’20, and Maddie Kozel ’21.
