Pine Crest Upper School Debate Team Competes at Tournament of Champions

The Pine Crest Upper School debate team of Maya El-Sharif ’21 and Michelle Rubin ’21 competed at the Tournament of Champions recently.
The national high school speech and debate tournament is hosted by the University of Kentucky every year in April. The Tournament is considered to be the national championship of the “National Circuit," and so it is one of the most prestigious and competitive American high school speech and debate tournaments.
They ended the tournament with a strong four wins and three losses record, with a loss in the seventh and final round of the competition.
