Upper School Awards & Achievements

Pine Crest Upper School student Blake Kravitz ’20 will study in China for the summer through the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) scholarship.

NSLI-Y is a program of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Blake, competitively selected out of over 3,300 applications from across the United States, is one of approximately 660 students who will study one of the seven NSLI-Y languages through an academic immersion program.

While in China, Blake will receive formal language instruction, live with a host family, and experience the local culture.

Congratulations, Blake!
