Upper School Awards & Achievements


Pine Crest Upper School Digital and Broadcast media students received several accolades for their work during the 2019-20 school year. 

 

Alexis Bernstein ’20 was awarded the Florida Scholastic Press Association Spring 2020 Digital Contest Broadcast Journalist of the Year.

 

Jonathan Kahn ’21 received an honorable mention for National Public Radio’s (NPR) “The 2020 Blank Podcast” about the topic of motivation. 

 

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences 2nd Annual Suncoast Student Production Awards awarded PCTV first place in the category of High School Newscast for the PCTV Extended Show: Mindfulness. PCTV’s Live Sports Event placed 2nd in the nation for Student Television Network  - 2020 STN Nationals
