Pine Crest School student-athletes from the swimming and diving teams have been named  2019-20 All-Americans by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA).

 

The NISCA All-American list comprises the top high school athletes from across the United States. To be considered, athletes must be in ninth grade and submit times from their scholastic team. This year, Pine Crest qualified eight individual athletes and three relay teams for the honor.

 

From the boys’ team:

Joshua Hanks ’21 - 200-meter individual medley, 100-meter breaststroke

William Taner ’20 - 100-meter backstroke

Denny Gulia-Janovski ’22 - Diving

Kevin Mendez ’22 - Diving

Elvis Kotikovski ’20, Joshua Hanks ’21, William Taner ’20, Luc Ferrara ’22 - 200-meter medley relay

 

From the girls’ team:

Andrea Santander ’20 - 100 and 200-meter free stroke

Julia Podkoscielny ’23 - 200-meter individual medley, 100-meter backstroke

Rachel Botting ’20 - 50-meter free stroke

Andrea Santander ’20, Rachel Botting ’20, Hanna Elks Smith ’22, Isabella Chambers ’22 - 200-meter free relay
