Three Pine Crest Upper School musicians were selected to the National Association for Music Education’s (NAfME) All-National Honor Ensemble.

Jeremy Berkun ’22, Jade Klacko ’21, and Aidan Veghte ’21 were selected after a rigorous audition process that required being an All-State musician, recommendation by a choral director, and submission of an unedited audio and video recording of NAfMe selected music.

“Considering that there are almost 5,000 All-State student musicians in the United States,” said Mr. Larry Mellone, Director of the Fine Arts, “this is a very prestigious achievement that will leave a lasting impression on these young musicians.”

Jeremy and Aidan will join the bass section of the Mixed Choir, which includes 240 of the most musically talented vocalists in the United States. This is Aidan's second year as a member of the All-National Honor Ensemble.

Jade will join Modern Band, a rock/pop ensemble, as a vocalist. She is one of only four vocalists from throughout the country who has been selected to participate in this ensemble.
