Pine Crest School Boys Golf Team Competes at 2022 State Championship Tournament

Athletic Upper School


The Pine Crest School boys golf team finished fifth in the 2022 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) state championship tournament.

The team qualified after winning their second consecutive regional championship. 

“The boys pushed through the very difficult front nine holes,” said Coach Karl Nitowski, Boys Golf Program Director. “Their poise, grit, and determination took over as they finished the final nine holes to place in the top five at the tournament, only two strokes out of third place. Out of the 439 high school teams in the state of Florida, Pine Crest finished the season ranked 14 overall.”
