Pine Crest Upper School Students are Finalists in Psychological Science Competition

Pine Crest Upper School students Danna Martinez ’20 and Josh Vlessing ’20 entered the APA PsycShort Video Festival and Competition with a short film titled "Flow Theory." Twelve videos were selected as contest winners, including “Flow Theory!”

The PsycShorts Science Video Festival and Contest aim to enhance the public’s understanding of psychological science through the creation and dissemination of informative and engaging science videos.

Entrants were asked to create a video — no longer than two minutes in length — that accurately and creatively explains a concept or finding from psychological science. About 200 videos from across the world, from people of all ages, and representing all areas of psychology were submitted by the April 2019 deadline.
