Upper School Awards & Achievements

Twenty-two (22) members of Pine Crest Upper School’s Class of 2021 have been named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is a competition for academic recognition and college scholarships. Students entered the Program by taking the Preliminary SAT (PSAT) during their junior year and earning a minimum score to qualify for the competition. They are now invited to apply to become a finalist by submitting a personal essay, high school grades, a school recommendation, and their SAT score.

Finalists become eligible to compete for the National Merit Scholar designation and scholarships sponsored by a private business or corporation, the student's college, or the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Scholarship winners will be announced in spring 2021.
