Pine Crest Upper School student Rebecca Adler ’23 received a Silver Knight Award from the Miami Herald Silver Knight Awards Program recently.
The Silver Knight Awards are one of the nation’s most highly regarded student award and scholarship programs. The purpose of this program is to recognize outstanding high school seniors who have not only maintained good grades, but have also unselfishly applied their special knowledge and talents to contribute significant service to their schools and communities. One Silver Knight Award and three Honorable Mention Awards are given per category in Broward County from a field of 750 applicants.
In addition to Rebecca, five of her peers were named Honorable Mentions at the Awards:

Madison Huang ’23: Honorable Mention Award; Business Category
Kathryn Zimmerman ’23: Honorable Mention; Digital and Interactive Media Category
Max Winnick ’23: Honorable Mention; Mathematics Category
Emma Gould ’23: Honorable Mention; Music and Dance Category
Silver Knight Award winners receive a $2,000 scholarship; Honorable Mention winners receive a $500 scholarship.
